Hanging out with Sue Brown

1. Welcome to the blog. We all want to know what’s going on right now with your writing career. What’s simmering in the pot, and what have you recently finished.

*deep breath* The Layered Mask, my first Regency, and Light of Day, the sequel to The Night Porter, got published last week. Stolen Dreams and Complete Faith, the sequel to Morning Report get published in the next three months. Empty Sands, my summer fluff, is half way complete. Various other stories partly completed. Is that enough?

2. If you could date one of the heroes in your books, which would it be? What features make you like him the most?

I would date Rich from Nothing Ever Happens. He’s not the main character, but he is the hero. I’ll say no more about him but if you read the book you’ll understand why.

3. Can you give us an excerpt from one of your books?

Blurb: James Trenchard is a dick. Everyone in Bingwell, Brock, and Bacon says so, and after Ethan’s first encounter with the man, he agrees. Ethan resolves to avoid James but ends up working closely with him and discovers the lawyer’s hiding a secret from the world. Ethan also realizes he’s falling too hard too fast. Ethan has to decide if he should help James and risk getting entangled in the mess James has gotten himself into, or move on. But walking away from love is never a simple decision to make.

Excerpt:
“Trenchard is a dick. Unless you’re a chick. Then he’s the only one with a dick. The rest of us might as well not exist.”

There was a rumble of agreement around the coffee room at Vince’s vehement rhyming declaration.
Ethan looked around at the other assistants, as they nodded in agreement. As the newest employee of Bingwell, Brock, and Bacon, the largest advertising agency in the city, he had no idea who Trenchard was, or what he had done to offend the senior administrator. He noticed the small, secretive smile that curved the lips of several women in the room, as they stared down into their coffee cups. Ethan had the impression she knew a lot more than she was giving away.

Vince curled his fingers around his cup so tightly Ethan feared that it was going to crack. “Do you remember last year with Antonia from the third floor?”

“Heck, yes.” Paul chimed in. “He was all over her the second we walked in the building.”

“And she went out to dinner with him.” Vince’s tone was bitter. “When I asked her to go out for a drink, she laughed at me. Then Trenchard raised his eyebrow, and she was dropping her panties before you could say slut.”

Paul shrugged. “Yeah, but he’s James Trenchard, Vince. If he asked you out, you’d be dropping your panties even faster.”

Ethan waited for Vince to explode. He was, as far as Ethan was aware, a full-on heterosexual male, albeit an arrogant douche who had the women running for the hills.

Instead, Vince bit at his fingernail, before saying, “Nah, probably not.”

“Who is this dude?” Ethan asked, totally confused.

Vince gave him a look. “He’s James Trenchard.”

As if that was supposed to explain everything. By the way they all nodded again, maybe it did.
From the way they said James Trenchard, Ethan wasn’t sure what he expected. The Messiah, perhaps? In all the years his mom forced him to go to church, no one told him that he’d meet the Messiah at Bingwell, Brock, and Bacon.

* * * * *

In the lobby, as James Trenchard greeted Leanne Cauldwell, the administration director and Ethan’s boss, Ethan stared at him, trying to see the attraction. Sure, the guy was good-looking, almost beautiful even, for a guy in his mid-thirties, with sleek, light brown hair that curled over his collar, and ice-blue eyes framed by long lashes. Those lips wouldn’t look out of place on a woman, except, on Trenchard, they didn’t look effeminate. He was wearing a charcoal gray, pinstripe suit, with a plum-colored shirt and tie. Ethan noticed how well the suit pants showed off Trenchard’s ass. The lawyer seemed friendly enough. Ethan wondered what he’d done to warrant the enmity of Vince Lines.

Up until the moment Trenchard let the door bang behind him, right into Ethan’s face.

“Told you so.” Vince’s nasty whisper floated behind Ethan.

The guy was a dick, no doubt about it. Not a word of apology for almost rearranging Ethan’s nose, then Trenchard ignored them all as they used the elevator to the tenth floor. Ethan stared at the lawyer’s back with dislike, his top lip curling as James Trenchard openly flirted with Ethan’s boss.
Ethan felt sickened, the way Trenchard’s hand rested on her lower back as he guided her toward the conference room. What was worse, Leanne “Lay-one-finger-on-me-and-I’ll-bust-your-balls” Cauldwell was positively blooming under Trenchard’s sleazy charm. She had just giggled—giggled—at something he said.

But as the lawyer showed Ms. Cauldwell into the large, airy room, he looked over his shoulder to the men following them, Ethan included.

“Your boys get prettier every year, Lulu,” Trenchard said conversationally. “Especially that large one. He’s so young.”

The large one, of course, had to be Ethan; he cleared most of the men by at least half a foot. And he wasn’t fucking pretty. Especially not with a door imprint on his face. Unimpressed at being reduced to the level of a thirteen-year-old girl, Ethan rolled his eyes at Vince and Paul.

He noticed Ms. Cauldwell hadn’t even bothered to look at her team. “You batting for the other side this year, James?”

“I bat for everyone,” Trenchard said, then showed his perfect, white teeth.

Ethan imagined Trenchard sinking them into Ethan’s shoulder, even as he sank his cock into Ethan’s body.

Ms. Cauldwell snorted. “I bet you do. Well, my boys are pretty and clever, so don’t you forget it. Don’t make the mistake of thinking they’re just for show.”

Trenchard swept a glance appreciatively over the small group of men; his gaze lingered on Ethan’s face. “Oh, I won’t underestimate them, Lulu; I definitely won’t.”

And didn’t Ethan just know Trenchard was talking to him. He wanted to punch him in the face.

“I don’t think your boy likes me very much.” James confided to Ms. Cauldwell as they sat down.

“Mr. Williams has good instincts,” Ms. Cauldwell said.

Ethan resisted the urge to preen a little.

“I’m sure he does.” Trenchard drawled.

The rest of them spread around the table. Ethan didn’t know how it happened but somehow he ended up on the opposite side of the table from the lawyer. His temper rising, he avoided looking at the man’s smug face; instead, his gaze fell on Trenchard’s hand wrapped around a fountain pen. Long fingers tipped with well-manicured hands—strong hands. Ethan wondered what they’d look like around his dick. Flushing guiltily, Ethan looked up, to catch Trenchard smirking. Hastily averting his eyes, Ethan caught Ms. Cauldwell staring at them with a resigned expression.

“For heaven’s sake, put him down, James.” Ms. Cauldwell sounded more resigned than angry as she tapped her fingers on the table impatiently.

Trenchard leaned back in his chair. “I haven’t touched him, Lulu.”

Ethan wondered if he was the only one who could hear the yet.
“He’s off-limits. Mr. Williams, if you could actually concentrate on our meeting?” Her tone made it clear that it wasn’t a question.

His cheeks grew even hotter. Ethan muttered his apologies. He could feel the amused stares of all his colleagues except for Vince, who glared at him from farther down the table. Ethan looked up to see Trenchard still gazing at him, as if he were a succulent piece of prime rib.

Ethan was grateful when the meeting actually started, which diverted attention away from him. As the meeting progressed, he was unwillingly impressed. Trenchard knew his business. Nothing got past him as he went through each file. Ethan managed to acquit himself adequately when it came to his turn, answering all of the lawyer’s questions competently. Some of his colleagues didn’t fare so well. Ethan winced as Trenchard shredded Vince for a mistake that cost the agency thousands of dollars.
By the end of the meeting, he was feeling more relaxed and able to handle himself. That complacent feeling lasted until he felt a warm foot travel up his calf. From the angle of the foot, it could only be Trenchard. Ethan was pinned like a butterfly on a board as the silk-clad foot tiptoed its way higher, until it rested neatly in his groin.

Trenchard’s mouth moved as skillfully in his detailed discussion on why the agency would get screwed by Disney if they used a phrase in a technical manual as his foot did in its detailed exploration of Ethan’s groin.

Unable to move, unable to say anything, Ethan bit his lip as his traitorous cock sat up and begged for attention. He couldn’t even shove Trenchard off without drawing attention to himself. There was absolutely nothing he could do, as slowly, inexorably, he drew closer to climax. Just as his balls drew up tight, screaming for their release, the foot disappeared.

In shock at his denied orgasm, Ethan watched in horror as the lawyer pushed back his chair and stood.

“I think we’re done for the day, Lulu. Good work, everyone.” Trenchard’s gaze swept around the room. He gave a brief smile. “I believe there is lunch in the boardroom. I’m sure the sandwiches aren’t too stale.”

Everyone stood, except Ethan; he clutched his pen so tightly it was in danger of snapping. So close to coming, a puff of wind could’ve set him off.

“Mr. Williams, are you coming?” Ms. Cauldwell raised an eyebrow at her associate’s lack of motion.

Most likely, he thought desperately, as he gave her a wild-eyed, “Yes, ma’am.”
“I’ll leave you to collect the files, then you can join us in the boardroom.” She pushed back her chair, not giving a hint that she knew of his predicament.

“Yes, ma’am.” He repeated himself, not moving a muscle. Trenchard, the bastard, left without even a backward glance at Ethan.

Paul gave him a puzzled look but obediently handed over his file, the others following suit.

Angry as fuck, Ethan grumbled, alone in the conference room with a pile of files in front of him, his erection hardly subsided since that bastard left him hanging. He wanted to get his cock out and jack off. Get it over and done with. Only he couldn’t do that, so he had to wait until his boner had gone down enough for him to walk without a limp. He’d be lucky if there was any food left by the time he got there. Ethan ground his teeth in frustration.

When he finally could show himself in public and walk into the boardroom, his prediction proved accurate. The food platters were empty, the only things left a few pieces of limp watercress. Ethan groaned inwardly. It would be late evening before he had a chance to eat again.

“Here.”

Someone thrust a plate into his hand. Not expecting it, Ethan dropped the pile of files in his arms. The sandwiches miraculously stayed on the plate. The room went silent for a moment, then everyone burst into laughter.

“Dear me, Lulu, you really picked a good one this time.”

Ethan could hear Trenchard’s mocking tone over the laughter. He sank to his knees to pick up the files, but not before putting a sandwich in his mouth, just in case they got taken away. Paul immediately joined him, reaching out for a file that had slipped farther away.

“I’m so sorry, Ethan.”

“Huh?”

“I saved you some food. I should have waited until you’d put the files down.”

“So you should, Mr. Vicini. It seems Mr. Williams can’t manage two things at once. Multitasking is obviously not one of his skills.”

Ethan looked up to see Trenchard standing over him, that stupid, mocking smile still on his handsome face. Glaring at the lawyer, he got to his feet, files in hand.

Throwing caution to the wind, Ethan leaned forward and lowered his voice. “I am perfectly capable of managing two things at once, Mr. Trenchard, just as you seem to be. It’s really a shame you’ll never have a chance to discover that for yourself.”

He took satisfaction in the fleeting look of disappointment that crossed the lawyer’s face.

His boss watched them from the sidelines, wearing a peculiarly satisfied expression.

“I think I’ll take the files back to the office, Ms. Cauldwell.” He didn’t really care if this was against protocol.

She nodded, that odd look still on her face. “Good idea, Mr. Williams.”

He took another sandwich from the plate Paul still held; he was hungry, after all, then left the room, thankfully without tripping, a shred of his dignity still intact.

As he left, he heard his boss say quietly, “One for my team this year, I think.”

James gave a short laugh. “Not on your life, Lulu. This is just the opening salvo. Williams is just a kid. He could never stand to play with the big boys.”

And didn’t Ethan just hear the emphasis.

Ethan was a short hop from dropping the files and walking back in to plant his fist in James’ face.
“Honestly, Lulu, you’re going have to up your game if you think you’re going to beat me.”

“James, one day you might just get what’s coming to you.”

“Never gonna happen.”

Humiliated and furious, Ethan stabbed at the elevator button. The guy was a lawsuit waiting to happen. Who the fuck did he think he was? If Ethan didn’t need his job so much, he might have called the bastard’s bluff. Except he wouldn’t have, because God, that foot had felt good on his cock.

Yes, Mr. Trenchard, you are a total dick.

4. This is an age old question that every author has to answer about 20,000 times. What got you into writing, and how old were you? Thirty-nine and eleven months, waking up to see Captain Jack Harkness kissing the real Captain Jack in Torchwood. Watch the clip on Youtube. You’ll soon see why I was writing three days later.

5. If you couldn’t be a writer, what would you do with your life? No idea. I found my niche.

6. Do you have a day job that interferes with your ‘real life’ as an author? I’m still finishing my theology degree so not at the moment. Between my family, my degree, looking after a sick family member and life… everything interferes.

7. Tell us something unique about yourself that we don’t know. Um… um… I started to play the trombone as a kid… bloody useless at it.

8. Bacon or ham? Bacon sandwich with Levi Roots’ Reggae Reggae sauce.

9. Chocolate or Jelly Beans? Chocolate: hands down my favourite food.

10. Now that we’ve gotten to know you, we need to know where to find you so we can stalk, I mean visit you.

Lady With a Duel Personality – Tabs/Jaydyn Both Equally Wonderful

LTR: Welcome to the blog. We all want to know what’s going on right now with your writing career. What’s simmering in the pot, and what have you recently finished.
TABS: Gosh, it has been a busy few months for me. I recently signed on with a new publisher, Secret Cravings Publishingwho has agreed to republish my previous books. So that has been a very busy project getting them all reformatted. Witch’s Brew was just released in an extended version and Witch’s Heart is soon to follow along with the rest of series and whatever new books I write. What’s in the pot? So many things, I need more hours in the day and night. WILD, of course, the final installment in my Montana Men Series written under my Jaydyn Chelcee name. It will be my newest, previously unpublished novel to date and I expect it’ll be out much later in the year, along with the re-release first four novels in the series. I’m also in the middle of writing my first Sci/Fi and I’m loving it.LTR: If you could date one of the heroes in your books, which would it be?TABS: Beyond doubt, Dym, from Witch’s Touch, book six in the series and yet to be published. What features make you like him the most? Even though he is the Prince of Death, I like his vulnerability. He’s kinder than he thinks he is, and he has a heart, though he believes he doesn’t. I think readers will love getting to know his character.LTR: Can you give us an excerpt from one of your books?Sure. WARNING: R-Rated: Witch’s Brew Excerpt:

Saylym flinched as his mouth closed hotly around the aching bud. He suckled strongly, nipping the nipple with his teeth. Heavens. She was headed straight to hell.
“Strawberries and cream,” he whispered, and swirled his tongue around the aching bud.
Oh, yeah, straight to hell in a handbag. No directions required. Free passage. She had her boarding pass. All she had to do was get aboard.
Talon wasn’t a man to play favorites. He moved to the other breast, bit gently on the straining little berry, then soothed the slight sting with an expert flick of his incredible tongue.
“Sweet,” he breathed and fed deeply, rolling the nipple beneath his tongue, savoring the delicious taste of her.
Without conscious thought, Saylym slid her fingers into the silky strands of his dark hair and held him against her bared breast. “I…uh…oh…stars,” she cried as he brought his full weight on top of her.
He felt divine and smelled like sin. Rich, inviting sin. He moved his hips in a slow, rhythmic thrust as old as time itself. Slowly, he pressed her knees apart and allowed the hard ridge to settle snugly between her thighs as he rocked gently, moaning against her breasts.
Saylym felt his fingers slip to the waistband of her shorts, release the metal button and zipper, and then dip inside. “I have to touch you, La-Scheme,” he whispered against her throat. “Let me touch you.”
“Ah…I…” she gurgled, unable to form a complete sentence.
The cutoffs fell away with a brush of his hands. She saw his pupils dilate. His nostrils flared at the sight of the tiny, studded arrow pointing the way.
He choked.
Not that he needed direction, she thought wildly. He seemed to be blazing his own trail pretty darned well.
Talon slowly followed the direction of the glittering arrow with his index finger, paused at the very tip of it, before sliding underneath to stroke the tiny bud hidden beneath the red satin.
“Ah…I…” she couldn’t seem to get past those two words as she arched her body against the slow stroking of his finger. He slipped a second finger inside her, gently stretching her, stroking smoothly in a steady rhythm.
Saylym bucked beneath his touch as he explored the silken sheath of her womanhood. She felt him hesitate as he bumped against the proof of her purity. He muttered something, then slid a hand beneath her buttocks, lifting her hips. Slowly, he stroked the tiny button with his thumb, his fingers thrusting and stroking the velvet heat within.
She moaned, clawing at his shoulders, his hair. “Talon,” she gasped his name. Her body convulsed wildly. “I-I…”
“That’s it, baby,” he encouraged. “Come for me, Saylym. I want to feel you unravel.”
A tiny whimper slipped past her throat. He stroked faster, deeper. She shattered in his arms, her body quaking as he held her tightly. “Ssh…it’s all right, baby. It’s all right.”
Tiny whimpers escaped her throat as he withdrew his fingers. “Ssh,” he whispered, pulling her close to his bare chest, rocking her until she settled. “I need you, Saylym.”
She pressed her face against his warm flesh and wondered vaguely when he’d taken off his shirt. Or had she removed it?
She couldn’t halt the moan as he lowered her to the quilt and started over.
His tongue found the underside of her breasts, and he paused to lick her there, before moving slowly down her stomach, straight toward Beulah Land. He paused at the waistband of her thong.
Whimpers of desire tore from her clogged throat. Excited, she waited to see what he would do next. He poured wine on her stomach and then followed the red trails with his tongue, pausing to sip from her bellybutton, swirling and dipping his tongue into the tiny opening.
She couldn’t move. She couldn’t breathe.
Her body burned as if he’d set fire to it. She wanted him to touch her again. To bring her to that delicious fever pitch and take her over the edge. He glided his tongue down her belly. Any second now she’d do a slow burn, melt into a puddle of steaming, wine-flavored liquid.
The man knew what he was doing.

* * * *

The man was insane with need.
Talon sucked in a deep, ragged breath. She was driving him crazy with those sexy little mewling sounds she kept making. Wildly hungry with desire, he knew he played with fire. And the more he played, the more he wanted to play, and he knew, damn it, he knew, he didn’t dare seek his own release or things could get way out of hand.
Still, he pushed her to the brink, to the very edge of completion with his fingers. His mind roared with the clawing need to be inside her.
Saylym moaned. “Please.”
“My intent is to please you, lovely Saylym. That has always been my objective.”
Talon raised his head and stared down into her passion-clouded eyes. Oh, how he wanted to kiss her. The need was so urgent, so overwhelming, he felt as if he was going to shatter into a thousand pieces.
He fumbled with the zipper on his jeans, released his blood-engorged cock and rubbed it against the portal of her womanhood. He swore he’d take it slow. Just a little. He’d enter her just a little, enough to give them both a taste of the raw heat and friction building to fever pitch between them. Enough to gain his own release, but not so far he couldn’t pull back, stop before he was too deep, stop, before he came inside her.
He tore the thong down her legs and tossed it to one side. Then settling between her thighs, he nudged her knees wider apart. The broad head of his cock stroked against the warm channel of her womanhood. By degrees, he pushed inside her, slowly stretching the sensitized muscles.
He rocked gently, working the tip in and out, going a little deeper with each penetration, until the head of his shaft bumped against the flimsy barrier of her virginity. Though he yearned to rip through the fragile membrane, he restrained the urge to thrust. Instead, he pulled back and teased her with the broad head of his cock, slow and shallow, rocking in and out in a torturous rhythm that was delicious agony for both of them.

LTR: And, yeah…muscles, um…virgin flesh? R rated? Nah…..yummy!

This is an age old question that every author has to answer about 20,000 times. What got you into writing, and how old were you?

TABS: *Giggles*…I never tire of this question. I was fifteen. My imagination and Marty Robbins’ Ballad, Big Iron On His Hip. I used to play that old 45 record over and over and from the song came my first idea for a story. I penned it on paper, but instead of writing it in novel form, I wrote it as a play. Back then I had no clue what I was doing. *Laughs*

LTR: I’m not quite sure I know what I’m doing now, and I’m not 15 years old. But that too is another issue.

If you couldn’t be a writer, what would you do with your life?

TABS: I was a nurse for fourteen years until an accident left me physically unable to do the job, that’s when I returned to my first love…writing. So if I couldn’t do that, I don’t know, I’d probably spend a lot of time searching for old coins. Coin collecting is my third passion. *Laughs*

LTR: How about you find some BIG expensive coins to get us some cabana boys? Sounds like a true winner for me.

Do you have a day job that interferes with your ‘real life’ as an author?

TABS: Not anymore. I put my writing on hold for years while I worked and raised a family, but now my time is pretty much my own.

LTR: I am ready for another 10 years when I can make my time my own. And maybe I can become rich and famous and have someone clean the house for me. (Other than my fiance!)

Tell us something unique about yourself that we don’t know.

TABS: Unique? Wow. I don’t think of myself as unique in any way. I love tattoos. And I tend to use them quite a bit to embellish my stories. I have two, one on my right ankle, a heart with a rose entwined through it and a dark blue butterfly on the back of my neck. It’s pretty large, but you can’t see it as long as my hair is down. *Giggles*

LTR: I now have two tattoos. I have a claddah with vines around it. The other is an elf sitting on a mushroom. Stupid things you do when you are 19. *smh*

Bacon or ham?

TABS: Definitely bacon. It’s just about the only pork I do like.

LTR: I have a severe love for bacon too! I read about a recipe called ‘crack’ bread. Cut a round loaf across, and then across again. Stuff the cracks with cheddar cheese, then bacon, then butter and ranch. Bake in foil for 15 min, then out of foil for 10 min. *sigh*

Chocolate or Jelly Beans?

TABS: Ooo, chocolate. I’m a chocoholic. *Laughs*

LTR: Have you ever had a Canadian Aero bar? OMG – they are heaven. I know that Hershey’s is trying to copy it, just not the same.

Now that we’ve gotten to know you, we need to know where to find you so we can stalk, I mean visit you.

TABS: Anyone can email me at tabshay at gmail dot com/ Or visit my websites at http://www.tabithashay.com/

It’s been a pleasure to be here. Loved the questions.

Tantalizing Tamara Monteau Visits LTR

LTR: Welcome to the blog. We all want to know what’s going on right now with your writing career. What’s simmering in the pot, and what have you recently finished.

TM: My fourth novel, Haven’s King, is currently in editing. Once that one’s launched, I’m going to take a breather before resuming work on book five. Launching four books in six months time is quite a load! Book five, which I have yet to name, will delve more deeply into the inner workings of Haven and the histories of the creatures who inhabit it. I’m weaving all of this into Vincent’s story, and we will learn why he’s been so enigmatic.

LTR: How in the world did you get all those books out at once? You’re making me tired. I’m honored you could make an appearance today!

If you could date one of the heroes in your books, which would it be? What features make you like him the most?

TM: O-o-oh. Tough question. I guess it would depend upon the mood I’m in and what kind of date. If I’m looking for a light-hearted good time, I’ll pick Jason hands down. He is very much like my husband – both cock-eyed optimistic, both handling stress with humor, inspiring those around him. He likes picking on people and making them laugh. So, he’d be a fun date.

Now, if I were more interested in (blushing here) seduction and surrender, I would absolutely melt in Ronan’s arms. He has a tendency to be dark and mysterious. His power is phenomenal. To be overwhelmed, just once, to that kind of seduction would… (trails off dreamily)

LTR: Don’t feel you have to trail off on my account. I’d be more than happy to hear more about both men. And no blushing in romance darling!

Can you give us an excerpt from one of your books?

TM: Sure you can.

*****

The light came from the kitchen, just a single bulb burning over the sink. She thought about pilfering from the ‘fridge, but it wouldn’t be polite, so she ignored the sudden cramp in her stomach. A door at the other end of the kitchen probably led to either a utility room or the backyard. Or both. A second door to the right stood ajar. More light glowed dimly from below. She stepped quietly to the opening and heard the sounds of conversation. The first voice she heard clearly was Jason’s, and his words made her pause.

“I’m in love with her. Every moment I spend with her makes me more sure of that.”

A sudden rush of emotion stole her breath. He was in love with her! Suddenly everything she’d sensed, everything she’d been feeling about him, made sense. He had been pursuing her after all. Maybe his motives with the station were honorable, but what about his motives with her? When she heard the word ‘danger’, she snapped back to reality.

“I’ve been watchful, but I can’t provide her adequate protection without compromising my promise.” Jason again.

“The enforcers have kept special watch on her apartment and her partner’s home in town. I doubt even the cleverest of their numbers could find a way past them.” The speaker had a soft tenor voice with an almost musical lilt.

“They can’t watch my back and discover the source of this wave. No. Obviously, there is some force out there opposed to my interest in her.”

“You could be right,” a man with a distinctive British accent said. “After all, you have some very powerful enemies.”

“All the more reason I should call off the hunt.” Jason’s voice sounded thick with sorrow. “She is my true and perfect mate, the other half of myself in every way. I must protect her, even if it means I have to let her go.”

The conversation stopped, but she wouldn’t have heard more if it continued. Her head whirled over what he’d just said. She felt confused, frightened. She was thrilled. Okay, so they’d only just met, but once she’d let her guard down and started to get to know him, she realized she did like him. More than she wanted to. Less, maybe. She couldn’t tell. Then the silence downstairs was broken by the mysterious Englishman.

“Have you ever thought she might be a potential ally in this new threat? After all, the citizens of Carrington are at risk, at least at present.”

“Dev, you know better than to ask that question. The police can’t be involved.”

“No, not the whole department, my boy, just her. After all, if we start finding casualties—”

“Sh-sh-sh!” Jason’s shush was sharp. A warning. “Mirissa? Is that you up there?”

LTR: Love, mystery and intrigue, I love it.

This is an age old question that every author has to answer about 20,000 times. What got you into writing, and how old were you?

TM: When I was a child, I was very shy and introverted. I spent more time with my nose in a book than playing. But of course, reading after hours was prohibited, so when I couldn’t sleep, which has always been frequently, I would make up stories in my head to pass the time until the sand man got around to me.

I’ve always loved fiction. I read Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women (the full version) when I was eight years old. Then (and this dates me) Dark Shadows made its appearance in my life, forever transforming me from innocent wanderer to dark dreamer. I dabbled a bit here and there, picking up steam during high school, but didn’t really get serious about exploring the craft until 1992, when Dan Curtis once again visited Barnabus Collins on my dreams. I was left aching for the poor, reluctant vampire, and thinking of ways I could help such a creature. Lost Hopes was written in 1993. It was pure donkey poop, but I keep one copy around for laughs. The characters and plot evolved after I completed work on Twilight Destiny and self-published it in 2008. I picked up Lost Hopes, and by the time it was finished, The Darker Path was born. After that, I couldn’t stop myself from writing if my life depended upon it.

LTR: I envy you. I still can’t seem to get past Little Women. But I have read Steven King’s The Stand. **3 times @ 900 pages**

If you couldn’t be a writer, what would you do with your life?

TM: The only way I couldn’t be a writer is if I were to become hopelessly disabled or mentally impaired. That’s like telling the average mortal he’s no longer allowed to eat. So long as my mind is free, my stories will continue. If I can’t write them down, I’ll find someone who can. (determined grin)

LTR: Determination is such a wonderful thing. Do you have a day job that interferes with your ‘real life’ as an author?

TM: Nope! When the kids were ready to move on, my husband retired from the Air Force and found a second job. When he felt our finances could handle the change, he asked me to quit and stay home for a while because the stress of working, going to school, and preparing girls’ for weddings had crippled me. That was… six years ago? So I spend most of my days as I will, depending on the time of year. When the need to write hits, everything goes on the back burner. I sit on the sofa with my laptop, put up my feet, and let Haven’s Realm take me over. And if (blushing again) my imaginary lovers get too playful, my husband doesn’t seem to mind. Ah, what a wonderful thing imagination is! LOL

LTR: Imagination is great. My fiance loves when I read/write erotica since it spices up his life a little too! Tell us something unique about yourself that we don’t know.

TM: As hard as this may be to understand, I am a devoted Christian. I know, the average religious or truly spiritual would roll their eyes at that. My writing has nothing to do with my faith. On the other hand…

…My faith has a lot to do with my writing. When I began work on Haven’s King, I truly didn’t know where I was going with it. Before I knew it, I had written in a unique vampire culture, one which has an understanding with Heaven’s Forces, be they Christian or (grinning broadly) Greek. This is why I will not go hotter than three flames. My love scenes are necessary to my stories, not the other way around, and the few really satisfying parts are handled with the greatest of care. The main premise of my new culture is the firm belief that all creatures, be they mortal or no, deserve to be judged on their own merits. They limit their interaction with humanity, and wish only to explore their gifts and live in peace.

I wish I could let them.

LTR: Peace would make for a boring book I fear!

How about another question (I swear I’m almost done!) Bacon or ham?

Um…both.

LTR: Chocolate or Jelly Beans?

No-o-o! Not the Jelly Beans! LMAO This is a joke between my husband and myself involving the crystal bowl of jelly beans I kept on top of my bookcase headboard, which chose the wrong moment to fall and break over the bridge of my nose. Brings a painful new meaning of coitus interuptus! After that, it’s been strictly chocolate…

And more chocolate…and…

LTR: OMG – you are hilarious! I will never look at jelly beans the same way again! Now that we’ve gotten to know you, we need to know where to find you so we can stalk, I mean visit you.

M.S. Spencer – So Much To Know – So Little Time

LTR: Welcome to the blog. We all want to know what’s going on right now with your writing career. What’s simmering in the pot, and what have you recently finished.

MSS: My fourth romantic suspense novel, Triptych, was released in November from Secret Cravings. I just sold my fifth, a murder mystery and romance set in Old Town Alexandria’s Torpedo Factory Art Center. Entitled Artful Dodging: The Torpedo Factory Murders, it features Milo Everhart, a needlepoint artist, who must protect her beloved Art Center from her lover, who wants to turn it into a box store.  Here’s the tag line: Murders, misdirection, mistrust, misfits, and miscreants—needlepoint artist Milo Everhart has her hands full. Can love blossom amidst it all?

I’m also working on several children’s stories, and of course, Christmas reminiscences.

LTR: OMG – Needlepoint? Art? Aaahhhh…..so up my alley!

If you could date one of the heroes in your books, which would it be? What features make you like him the most?

MSS: It would likely be Michael Keller, the hero of my first book Lost in His Arms.  He’s a CIA troubleshooter who travels the world fixing international hornet’s nests. He’s dark and mysterious and very handsome in a craggy sort of way. Masculine rather than macho; gentle rather than soft; protective but not controlling.

LTR: You had me at CIA! I have a thing for military/government guys! Ah…..will you share? Please?

Can you give us an excerpt from one of your books?

MSS: This is from my latest, Triptych:

He kneeled before her, took her hands, and slowly lifted her as he rose. Gently he wrapped her face in his palms and brought his lips close, closer to her heart-shaped mouth. She stood, not wanting to move or breathe, waiting. He barely grazed her lips with his, and stepped back. “Thank you.”

She opened her eyes.  He stood quietly, his expression both ardent and patient. A little voice sang in her ear. “Go for it.”  She leaned forward, put her arms around his neck and drew him to her. Her lips smashed against his with all the pent-up desire she’d been pretending didn’t exist. He opened his mouth and parted her teeth, his tongue probing, licking, teasing. Their bodies touched and pressed against each other and they hung on, swaying. Miranda felt wave on wave of an intense emotion that had to be passion pass through her. The tide did not ebb.

With sudden determination he lifted her and carried her to the bed. “Miranda, I’ve wanted this since I first saw you. Tell me you felt the same.”

Oh, God yes. “No. No, Luc, we can’t. No.”

He stopped unbuttoning her blouse. “Why not? Tell me.” His voice came thickly.

“Because…oh, Luc, it’s not right. I don’t know. I don’t tr—” He stopped the words with another kiss. This time it went deeper still, the streams of desire spreading through her lymph nodes. Her hands and feet tingled and her vulva melted. She let him take off the blouse. Her nipples peeped above the blue lace bra. With his tongue he nudged them out of hiding and fastened on one. Miranda writhed with the pleasure of it, knowing she shouldn’t allow it. But Luc had left the nipple and was trailing kisses down her belly. Strong hands pulled the skirt down to reveal her blue silk bikini. Before she could say a word he tore them off. With his hands he spread the vaginal lips and began to lick the folds, sucking up her juices. “Oh, my God, Luc, no.”

He stopped. “No?”

“I…uh…” She looked him full in the face. His black eyes flashed, his tousled hair fell across his brow. Her body let go.

Somehow he knew she had given in. He unbuttoned his jeans and let them drop. She ripped open the rose-colored oxford shirt he’d been wearing and spattered kisses on his chest. He pushed her down on the bed and rose above her. “Miranda.” Then he plunged into her.

So this is what making love feels like. With Edward it had been only sex. This, this is love. She went to meet him. And they rested.

Miranda’s body felt like a feather bed, like a warm bath, like the eye of the storm. She didn’t think she’d ever been so relaxed or so sure the world was a wonderful place. She gazed at her lover. “Luc?”

He opened one eye.

“Er…”

“Yes, mon chou?”

A tiny click. She looked toward the door. “Oh my God, Luc, we left it open! Someone heard us.”

LTR: OMG – who heard them….tell me. Tell me now!

This is an age old question that every author has to answer about 20,000 times. What got you into writing, and how old were you?

MSS: I fell in love with writing the first time I held pencil to paper. Thank God I moved so many times (at last count 37 times) and had to dispose of stuff, otherwise I’d have a freight train’s worth of poems, stories, books, and journals to cart around.  The urge to write  I think is a search for immortality—something to leave behind after we have shuffled off this mortal coil, even if it’s a thin volume of poems on a dusty shelf.

LTR: Can you imagine what would have happened if you still had it all? Oh, there could be volumes more than the tons you already had out.

If you couldn’t be a writer, what would you do with your life?

MSS: I might have been able to answer that ten years ago, before I was first published, but now I can’t conceive of such a thing. I had a wonderful prior life—traveled, lived and studied in all sorts of exotic places, worked on truly useful legislation in the Senate, gawked at pyramids, the art of Rembrandt and Da Vinci, natural wonders and monumental dams, got to stay home to raise my two perfect children (i.e., be my own boss). What else is there to do but weave it all into my stories?

LTR: Omg, what a life you have lead. You could write that into a book, and I wouldn’t believe you could do all of that in one lifetime.

Do you have a day job that interferes with your ‘real life’ as an author?

MSS: I am the part-time Executive Director of the Friends of the Torpedo Factory Art Center, which is actually useful in that it gets me away from my laptop and out of the house.

LTR: I try my hardest to not get out of the house. But then I don’t write as much as I should. Maybe a page from your playbook would work for me too.

Tell us something unique about yourself that we don’t know.

MSS: Haven’t I bared all here (jk)?

LTR: Nearly

MSS: Let’s see: I shook hands with the President (not saying which one); I rode a roan stallion under what would be the nose of the Sphinx if he had one; a tapir ate a snack right out of my hand and I swam with pink dolphins in the chocolate brown Yarapa River in the Amazon. That’s enough for now.

LTR: Bacon or ham?

MSS: Bacon—thick, meaty, pepper-crusted, crisp, bacon.

LTR: You are a woman of my own soul.

Chocolate or Jelly Beans?

MSS: Depends on my mood. But the chocolate has to be deep, dark and rich and the jelly beans naturally flavored. I’ve been known to eat Bertie Bott’s Any Flavor Beans.

LTR: I’ve always wondered how they test the taste of earthworms or vomit. I’m not sure I’d want to be the tester for that one. **shivers**

Now that we’ve gotten to know you, we need to know where to find you so we can stalk, I mean visit you.

It’s Raining Raine Delight!

LTR: Welcome to the blog. We all want to know what’s going on right now with your writing career. What’s simmering in the pot, and what have you recently finished.

RD: Hi AJ and thanks for letting me drop by here. I am currently finishing up edits for my December release, Moonlight and Magic and also finishing up a rough draft of my first MM novella, A Cowboy’s Christmas. Then of course I have a new trilogy begging me for attention plus a few other projects to deal with. My muse is never quiet lately. *sighs*

LTR: I’m sure there are many of us who wish our muses would not shut up!

If you could date one of the heroes in your books, which would it be? What features make you like him the most?

RD: Oh man, right now I am enthralled with my space pirates, Capt. Rafe Gregory and his first mate and lover Tyrese. Both these guys are alpha males and sexy. I can’t choose between them so can I have both…pretty please? *grins*

LTR: OK, if you have to have both, just let me watch!  🙂

Can you give us an excerpt from one of your books?

RD: Sure, this is an adult excerpt of my upcoming release, Moonlight and Magic, a brand new Devon Falls story. It tells a story of a lonely white tiger shifter who finds the meaning behind ‘Home is where the heart is’.

Can a were-tiger convince one stubborn woman that she is his for all time and show her that falling in love is just as sinful as a chocolate kiss?Michael Barnes is a rare white were-tiger and is tired of roaming around the world, alone. Meeting his destined mate was unexpected as well. Dixie Sinclair was fun, sexy and everything he feels he doesn’t deserve. The past has a way of coloring a person’s life and it’s up to Michael to show Dixie that he is the one to hold her heart.

Adult excerpt

With a sigh, she finished her drink and stared out into the night, wishing she was elsewhere when a man stood behind her that had her gasping in surprise. Before she could turn around, she felt him come up behind her, his arms on her waist with a steel grip as his breath tickled her neck. She shuddered as she tried not to cream her panties right then and there. He was masked and from what she could see in the window reflection, tall and everything screamed inside ‘DANGER’. He was an alpha and how she knew that she didn’t know but as her gaze caught his, her pussy spasmed with a need that had her wanting more.

He leaned down and then she shuddered as his lips teased her ear, his breath hot against her skin. Closing her eyes she tried to keep her balance while trying to keep a moan from coming out. A lick against her neck had her gasping , and she leaned against him, or tried to, anyway. His hands held her in place as the man played with her ear and teased her with soft licks against her skin.

“I want you, Dixie and I plan to have you…tonight.” The huskiness of his voice had her trembling as she tried to stop the soft moan that passed through her lips. Her pussy gushed more at his words and the excitement that raced through her had her on edge.

Without another word, he turned her around and smiled a sinfully wicked smile that left her breathless. Need raged hot inside her and before she could think clearly, she pulled his head down and kissed him hard. Slipping her tongue inside his mouth, she dueled with his as she pressed herself against the hard male body and felt her body awaken even more. Her desires that she used to have such a tight control on raged uncheck through her, and she didn’t give a damn who saw them at that moment. She wanted this man, and
she was going to take him-damn the consequences.

Before she could breathe, the kiss ended. Both of them breathing heavily and before she could ask his name, he lead her from her corner and into the crowd of people. Before she could blink, they were outside, and he just looked at her, making heat pool in her belly.

“Where can we go, Dixie, where we won’t be disturbed?” His voice was so sinful it had her shuddering as her desires flared inside her.

“My…my house.” She said as she swallowed, trying to work her dry throat. “We should be fine there.”

Before she could blink, he picked her up and walked over to the truck on the side of the Inn. With a growl and a short, hard kiss, he put her in the passenger seat and shut the door. After climbing in, he gunned the engine and roared off. Dixie trying to make sense of everything that has happened in the last few minutes when he ripped the mask off his face and looked at her, his eyes blazing yellow with passion and need. The way he looked, it was like a predator came out to play and had her in his sights.

Before she could blink, they pulled up in her driveway. When the engine turned off, Dixie had no idea what would happen next. She rubbed her arms and prayed to god she wasn’t about to make a mistake. Watching Michael, she tried to calm her raging body and bring calmness to her but the lust that drove her wasn’t going to calm down anytime soon. It had her in its grip and wasn’t about to loosen the ties on her at this moment.

“You do know once we go into the house, I’m going to have you, and I’m not going to stop. You had better tell me no now, before things get carried away and I get you naked.” Michael said as she watched his hands grip the steering wheel hard till his knuckles turned white.

“Take me inside, Michael.” Dixie swallowed hard at the way his eyes flared bright yellow and then faded to the silvery-blue she was beginning to enjoy seeing. As she opened her door, she glanced back at the one man who had the power to turn her world into chaos and knew there was no turning back now.

LTR: I’m a huge shifter lover. The only thing that comes behind it, vampires. I’m excited about your book.

This is an age old question that every author has to answer about 20,000 times. What got you into writing, and how old were you?

RD: I actually was dared by an author friend who heard me yelling about too stupid to live characters and tired plot lines. I took her dare and after a few drafts, Devon Falls series was born. It’s been 7 years and I still love creating new stories.

LTR: I wonder what else I can get you to do if I dare you…**evil thoughts**

If you couldn’t be a writer, what would you do with your life?

RD: I would love to work in one of the big seven publishing houses. All that talent *sighs* or as a chef. I used to work in the restaurant field until I burnt myself out working 50+ hours.

LTR: 50+ hours. ICK! I don’t think I would be able to do that. Though I would love to be a chef. I’m addicted t the reality shows on The Food Network. Shh, don’t tell anyone.

Do you have a day job that interferes with your ‘real life’ as an author?

RD: Oh yes, I work a day job under my real name so it tends to be quite hectic some days. I try to write an hour a day or more on weekends.

LTR: Only an hour a day, how do you accomplish what you do? I’m impressed to no end.

Tell us something unique about yourself that we don’t know.

RD: Well, when I was younger I lived through over a dozen surgeries from ages 13 to when I was 20 due to cervical spine cancer. I have been cancer free for almost 15 years so I take every day as it was my last. 🙂

LTR: Oh wow, congrats on your 15 years. That must have been hard to live with when you were that young. You are a true survivor.

Bacon or ham?

RD: Give me bacon anytime. 🙂

LTR: A woman after my own heart. Mmmm, bacon.

Chocolate or Jelly Beans?

RD: Sacriledge *gasps* Chocolate all t he way…White and milk chocolate.

LTR: You can have all the white chocolate you want, I’ll take the milk chocolate. Everyone in my house thinks I like dark chocolate since I eat it. I’d rather have milk.

Now that we’ve gotten to know you, we need to know where to find you so we can stalk, I mean visit you.

RD: Please stalk away *laughs*

What’s Up With Dana Littlejohn?

LTR: Welcome to the blog. We all want to know what’s going on right now with your writing career. What’s simmering in the pot, and what have you recently finished.

DL: I just finished and submitted a 2 book series on the African goddess of the sun and her sister the goddess of the moon. I haven’t heard anything back yet on those.

LTR: Oooo, I love books like that!

Two books just released: Releasing the Baggage (Secret Craving) and Seven Year Switch (Muse it Hot).
I have a new Christmas release; Christmas Goddess (available now).
New releases for the first part of 2012: A Valentine’s story; Cupid’s Target. A peek into the lives of a naughty married couple; Home with the Jones (Secret Cravings). Books 3 and 4 in my Erotes series (those are Aphrodite’s children) book 3; Charles Goddess and book 4; Alan’s Arrival. (Muse it Hot)

LTR: How in the world do you find time to do it all? You make me tired.

If you could date one of the heroes in your books, which would it be? What features make you like him the most?

DL: That’s a hard question. All my leading men look good to me. LOL I think if I had to choose it would be Bryce Turner (Christmas Goddess). Not only is he FINE I love his way thinking when it comes to his women. What’s that you say? You’ll just have to get the book. 🙂

LTR: Oh, that’s no fair. Thanks for adding to my TBR pile. I’m waiting for it to fall on me and I’ll suffocate. (It’s the life of a book hoarder!)

Can you give us an excerpt from one of your books?

DL: Absolutely! This is from Releasing the Baggage.

Right on time, Felix was at her door and they drove downtown to Club Calientè on the Canal. The music was loud and boisterous and the people looked happy, obviously having a great time. Felix took her by the hand and led her inside. They sat at a table near the dance floor and ordered their drinks. Jerri watched the people dancing for the first few songs, shaking her head.

“I don’t know, Felix. The dance looks pretty complicated. I don’t think I can do all that.”

He smiled dancing in his chair. “Sure you can. You just move your body to the music.”

She chuckled. “Yeah, well, that’s easier said than done.”

“Come on, we came to dance, so let’s dance.”

“Huh…”

“Don’t worry. I will show you. This song is about to end.”

She put her glass down and let him pull her to the floor just as the song ended and another slower tempo began.

“Ahh, yes, this is the perfect song to learn from. All you have to do is move back and forth. Follow my feet.”

“Okay,” she said, feeling a little unsure.

Felix took her hands so she would face him. When he stepped back he encouraged her to step forward with the same foot. Jerri followed movements, trampling his feet in the process, but by the end of the song, she had the basic footwork down.

“You did well. Now for the next one don’t be so stiff. Move your hips like this.”

He grabbed her hips giving them a twisting turn. She picked up the rhythm and took over moving them.

“Yes, yes, but more fluid. Think of lovemaking and the music is your lover. You want to move in sync with it and sway gracefully with your lover, together as one.”

She swallowed her laughter.

No wonder I can’t get this dance. If he knew how long it’s been since I had sex, he’d understand.

LTR: I have two left feet, maybe he needs to teach me how to dance. I wouldn’t mind!

This is an age old question that every author has to answer about 20,000 times. What got you into writing, and how old were you?

DL: As far back as I can remember I have always wanted to write. I was that kid that said when I grow up I want to be a writer. I wrote first stories in junior high school.

LTR: I started writing when I was in Jr. High too. Seems like a good time to get the brain working.

If you couldn’t be a writer, what would you do with your life?

DL: The other thing I wanted to do was work in a lab. I got into biology in high school and thought it was cool so decided I wanted to do that. Now I do!

LTR: Me and science never got along, so I’ll let all the lab work to you!

Do you have a day job that interferes with your ‘real life’ as an author?

DL: Yes. I work in a lab in a doctor’s office, but I have time between patients to let my brain runa much with ideas. LOL

My brain tends to run amuck all the time.

Tell us something unique about yourself that we don’t know.

DL: Hmm, I think after so many interviews my fans may know a little too much already. LOL

LTR: Way to skirt the question.

Bacon or ham?

DL: Ham!

LTR: I like ham and pineapple pizza!

Chocolate or Jelly Beans?

DL: CHOCOLATE!

LTR: Now that we’ve gotten to know you, we need to know where to find you so we can stalk, I mean visit you.

An Interesting Interview with Jean Joachim

LTR: Welcome to the blog. We all want to know what’s going on right now with your writing career. What’s simmering in the pot, and what have you recently finished.

Jean: I just finished the second books in three series, April’s Kiss in the Moonlight, second in The Moonlight Series, Now and Forever 2, the Book of Danny, second in the Now and Forever series and Champagne for Christmas (in final edits) second in the New York Nights series I also recently finished the first in that series, “The Marriage List”, a New York Nights romance. I’m exhausted and planning to take a week off before finishing a book I’m writing with a partner, a military romance called “Lost & Found.”

LTR: Wow, that would have me lying on the floor in a catatonic state! You are my hero!

If you could date one of the heroes in your books, which would it be? What features make you like him the most?

JEAN: I don’t want to make any of my men jealous. This is like trying to pick a favorite among your children. I can’t as I love them all. If I don’t love a hero, how can I expect my readers to love him? So I’d date Mac for his maturity, sense of humor and sexiness, Danny for his fierce protectiveness and making me feel safe and sexiness, Gavin and Mike for their sweetness, and sexiness, Grey for his suave, wealthy ways, sweetness and sexiness and Clint for his humor and sexiness.

LTR: Wow, I wish we could mold all of those men together and have wonderful man brownie!

Can you give us an excerpt from one of your books?

JEAN:

Sure: This is from Now and Forever
“I get the idea. He’s not much in the sack,” he said, bluntly, his gaze seeking hers.

“Not exactly,” she said, her hands twisting the cloth napkin.

“A beautiful woman like you deserves more.” He saw her eyes widen as he rested his hand over hers, calming her.

Her hands stopped, he closed his fingers around hers and she lifted her eyes to his.

“You’re right,” she said, hunger evident in her gaze.

“You deserve a man who can send you to the moon,” he murmured. He gazed at her face, lovely in the candle glow.

He gazed at her face, lovely in the candle glow.

He focused on her delicate mouth and inviting lips. He couldn’t keep his eyes from traveling over her body. His fingertips tingled when his gaze lit on her breasts, wondering how they would feel, anxious to find out but afraid to rush her.

“I don’t like to talk about Kyle. Most people don’t understand. But you’re different,” Danny said, dropping his eyes and changing the subject.

LTR: Wow, I’m ready to melt right here. You are a great writer! Thanks for sharing with us.

This is an age old question that every author has to answer about 20,000 times. What got you into writing, and how old were you?

JEAN: I’ve been making up stories since I was about five years old and writing as soon as I learned how. I always loved writing, maybe because I loved reading so much. To be able to be transported to another world through words fascinated me. And it still does. Now I do the transporting most of the time, but sometimes, my subconscious takes over and the story bends in another direction, taking me on a new magic carpet ride with it. My first book, non-fiction was published in 2003 by St. Martin’s Press. My first articles appeared in business and parenting magazines twenty years ago. I started in non-fiction first, but fiction has always been my first love. I’ve only been writing it for two years.

LTR: You’ve only been doing fiction for two years? Wow, you got about 1,000 books in the works, and from what I read you should be writing more and more and more.

If you couldn’t be a writer, what would you do with your life? Nothing. I’d be scratching stories out in the sand with my finger or telling them to people over campfires and coffee. There is nothing else I want to do.

LTR: That is wonderful that you wouldn’t do anything else. I’ve decided that I want to be the dwarf Grumpy when I get older.

Do you have a day job that interferes with your ‘real life’ as an author?

JEAN: No. I’m lucky. I write fulltime.

LTR: That’s great that you get to do that full time. There’s nothing better for concentration than focusing only on your writing.

Tell us something unique about yourself that we don’t know.

JEAN: I’m Jewish but my family has been here a long time. My grandfather was born in Arizona and was at one time the sheriff of Aspen. One of his brothers was an Admiral in the Navy. Two unusual pursuits for people of my faith.

LTR: Sounds like a very strong family. I bet your dad was a good Sheriff. A man in uniform is always great.

Bacon or ham?

JEAN: Both, but if I had to choose, bacon definitely!

LTR: I know, that’s a completely unfair question. (But I’m a little devil like that!)

Chocolate or Jelly Beans?

JEAN: Chocolate, though that’s the boring choice.

LTR: Chocolate is never a boring choice. (Unless you are eating Palmer’s chocolate.)

Now that we’ve gotten to know you, we need to know where to find you so we can stalk, I mean visit you. I have a new website.

JEAN: You can find me at www.jeanjoachimbooks.com.

LTR: It’s been a pleasure having you here, I certainly hope you drop by again.

Diana Sheridan Stops By To Visit – NSFW Excerpt

LTR: Welcome to the blog. We all want to know what’s going on right now with your writing career. What’s simmering in the pot, and what have you recently finished.

DS: As “Diana Sheridan” (a nom de plume), I recently finished writing my eighth man-to-man novel and have finished plotting out the next one…which I’ll start actually writing when I finish some other work (not book-writing) and get all my Christmas cards addressed and signed and sent out. (I have well over 100 to send, so it’s gonna take a while. LOL.)

LTR: Holy cow, that’s a lot of Christmas cards, I thought I had a lot with 50! Am I on the list? **winks**

If you could date one of the heroes in your books, which would it be? What features make you like him the most?

Since all the books I write as “Diana” are man-to-man, I wouldn’t want to date ANY of them. They’re all gay! LOL. I might enjoy spending a platonic evening in the company of the hero of MATING MICHAEL (forthcoming from Siren BookStrand). As he’s a fellow writer, I’m sure we’d have lots to talk about.

LTR: It’s great to have a pow wow with other writers, especially ones you have created.

Can you give us an excerpt from one of your books?

This is an x-rated excerpt from FINDING MR. WRIGHT

Evan began employing his tongue against the underside of Seth’s rampaging cock. He dragged the raspy surface across the flat underside, tantalizing every nerve that lived there…and Seth had never realized just how many nerves that was. Seth fought with every bit of strength he possessed to hold back from jetting a gusher of sperm into Evan’s mouth too quickly. Finally freed from the uncertainty of who and what he was, finally liberated from the restrictions that had held him back from exploring his true nature, he grabbed the curly hairs that clung sweatily to Evan’s head. Unabashedly Seth guided Evan’s head up and down as Evan’s marauding mouth laid claim to Seth’s cherry and treated him to his first man-to-man experience…his first-ever sexual experience of any sort, in fact, unless you counted self-pleasure.

Seemingly taking his cue from Seth’s tit-tweaking hands, Evan now returned the favor. While his right hand rhythmically squeezed Seth’s ballbag, his left hand beelined to Seth’s right nipple and twisted and pulled and tugged at it. It was the last straw—Seth could hold back no longer. With a groan that could have set off an earthquake, Seth unloaded a volley of steaming semen into the gulping, welcoming mouth of his initiator.

Evan made mmming noises of satisfaction as his gullet gulped to keep up with Seth’s outpouring, and he pressed Seth’s nutsac against Seth’s torso as if to squeeze out the last few reluctant drops. Then, sitting up on his knees, he looked at the totally wrung-out Seth and said, “Okay. My turn.”

LTR: Wow! Hot enough to burn the pages. Be careful with this one guys! Woo hoo!

This is an age old question that every author has to answer about 20,000 times. What got you into writing, and how old were you?

DS: I’ve been writing ever since I learned to spell. I don’t know what got me into it. I just sat down and wrote poems, articles, stories, you name it. It was as natural to me as breathing.

LTR: How wonderful that you’ve had that in you for so long. No wonder you have so many awesome books!

If you couldn’t be a writer, what would you do with your life?

DS: I think I might like being either a video editor or a sound technician. But I’m not sure. I mean, the idea of NOT being a writer is HORRIFYING!

LTR: You can say that one again! I for one am glad that you are a writer.

Do you have a day job that interferes with your ‘real life’ as an author?

DS: Nope. I write (and edit) full-time.

LTR: I’ve tried my hand at editing and I don’t think I could do anything except line editing. I’m very retentive and type A! Actually found several MAJOR errors in books that were published by BIG houses in NY. That’s why I like smaller houses.

Tell us something unique about yourself that we don’t know.

DS: I’m an ordained minister. (Not leading a church at present.) That’s the main reason I have to write this erotica stuff under an assumed name!!

LTR: Yes, that is a good reason to write under an assumed name. Guess even ministers have hot thoughts. (And we are thankful for that!)

Bacon or ham?

DS: Both. Preferably on the same sandwich. On rye bread, with mayo. In fact, that’s what I had for lunch earlier today. Honest!

LTR: No way, I must have known that was coming. I make my own rye bread. It’s wonderful, you’ll have to come over and have some.

Chocolate or Jelly Beans?

DS: Neither. I don’t care for either. Let’s go back to that bacon you just asked about…that’s much more tempting.

LTR: Maybe you are right. I’m quite the bacon hog. I could eat an entire package all by myself.

Now that we’ve gotten to know you, we need to know where to find you so we can stalk, I mean visit you.

DS: LOL—I don’t have a “Diana” website. Almost all my (many) books are in my real name. And they’re overwhelmingly nonfiction, divided about 50/50 between printed books and e-books. But if you’re looking for my “Diana” man/man erotica, try Siren BookStrand and Secret Cravings Publishing. I have one out with SBS now and one with SCP, and I have others forthcoming—written and contracted but not yet released. I also have another book under consideration at SBS, another under consideration at yet another publisher, and a contract for three more man/man erotica books with SCP.

Will It Go Round In Circles?

There are cycles in my life. I really seem to hate them though. I want to do everything and get everything done, but heck if I can do it.

Circle One

My reading phase. When this comes in, I can’t stop reading books. I can read one book every three days and I don’t want to stop. The kids are invisible, the fiance is sadly neglected (unless I am reading erotica), and the house becomes a hurricane zone.

Circle Two

My writing phase. I will write till my fingers hurt, my wrist threatens to fall off, and my eyes are blurry. Everything is wonderful and I am going to submit this story as soon as I am finished. No publishing house would dare turn this awesome story down. (Delusions of Grandure deluxe)

Circle Three

My TV phase. I have to make sure that I watch everything on my DVR and watch entire seasons of shows on Netflix. There is too much to watch all the time and then I have to DVR more so I can watch that.

Circle Four

My crafty phase. I will pull out the oil paints, the stencils, the yarn, everything but the kitchen sink. It will look like Michaels store exploded in my house. Everyone is going to get hand made gifts this year for Christmas, and to heck with them if they don’t like it.

Circle Five

My “I don’t give a crap” phase. I don’t want to do anything. Nothing gives me joy, nothing matters and I turn into a vegetable. Though no one can figure out which one I am.

I wish there was a way to combine all the Circles. I guess then that would be a Venn Diagram. But how that would work to make them all work at once, I don’t know what would work. If I could get them to work like this…

Maybe that would be cool. But see how little the space is where it all meshes? Little steps are the way t go.

I’m reading a book that should help with this. Learning to do little things at a time and not feeling like you have to do it all at once. Of course, if I could, I would just read and write.

Do you go in circles like I do? What would you like to do if you could only pick two things?

Romance Writers Make the Best Lovers

When you write a spicy sex scene for your book, normally there isn’t much research going into it. Unless you are writing about Fetishes that you haven’t tried yourself.

Normally sex scenes come straight through imagination and fantasies.

When an author sits down to the keyboard and starts writing out these wonder scenes, the juices and the words flow naturally. Each movement, word, caress comes through the brain and into the fingers and onto the paper. There is no need to research, plan, or plot.

It’s right there fresh and in the mind. And most normal red blooded females will turn their head and look at the person they love and their libido piques. They walk over…oh, never mind, I’m sure you understand where this is going.

Not only writers get this wonderful hormonal surge, so do the readers of their wonderful works. I’ve been known to review books and rate them on the ‘O’ scale. When an author can take you there with their work, it’s then that you know this person knows how to take words and weave a web of seduction and desire.

One of my favorite web weavers is Kissa Starling. Each story scorches my mind and delivers a great deal of satisfaction. One of the newest and hottest authors I’ve read is Karen Bostrom. I just read Red Leather Reunion and even though the main characters don’t have intercourse the sexual tension is just amazing.

Who are your favorite sensual authors?

Everything I Wanted to Know About Writing I Learned From My Cats

An insomniac has tons of times to think about writing (when one should be writing) and what they have learned and how. I honestly think that my cats taught me most of what I need to know.

1. Steady and cunning get you what you want. If you don’t have a cat and have never seen them stalk a fly/ladybug/moth you’ve missed out on a lifetime of lessons. They will sit as still as can be and stalk that thing till it’s just in reach. And eight times out of ten, they get what they are going after.

Just like writing! You have to be steady in your course and you will achieve your goals. You have to make sure that you keep the eye on the prize. If you don’t get it the first time keep on keeping on, it WILL happen.

2. Know who you can lean on. Cats are particularly finicky over who they will ‘sit’ with. My cat Thor will walk up to me, and nudge the laptop from my lap, curl up, and fall asleep. He only stays there long enough for a cat nap, but he knows that he can do it and won’t be chastised for it. Our cat Belle will only lay on you when you are laying down and near sleep, when she feels safest.

In writing you need to know who you can go to for critiques, ideas, and a good pick me up. There are some out there that you can’t trust, and those that would be hurtful to your ‘mojo’. You don’t want to ask someone to critique your work if they are going to say, “Seriously? You think you can write? That scene where they are in the cafe SUCKS!” After something like that, you may never write again. If you can find a friend who will look at it and say, “You did a good job, but I think some work could be done on the cafe scene. I was a little confused when she walked out. Can you tell me more?”

3. When life gets hectic go to another room and vegitate. When the kids are running around, I’m cooking, my fiance happens to be working on computers or filling up the wood stove, it can get hectic in the house. The cats then know it’s time to head upstairs into the bedrooms or hide in the living room when everyone is in the den.

When I write, I can’t do it around the family with the kids screeching, the dog barking, the dishwasher and washer going (man that last spin cycle is LOUD). I have to take myself out of the hectic atmosphere and go somewhere where the romance can flow. I hide in my room where my office is, some like to go to the library, or a coffee shop. You need to figure out what is right for you and go there, do that.

Realize that you can get an inspiration for writing from anywhere, so keep your eyes open and keep writing.

Extra! Extra! Read All About It by AJ Best

There are many sites that have great articles regarding various methods of promotion. Hopefully some will spark your imagination and give you some ideas that you may not have previously considered.  You may use one of their ideas and spring board it into another or your could possibly spin it in a totally different direction. Remember if you don’t like it, then do what David Bowie said and make Changes! The whole point is to get out there and research.  If you’ve found this article then you are taking a step in the right direction.  Bear in mind that I don’t promote or work for any of these promotion websites, but I do read their articles on a regular basis.  I find some of their facts, ideas and marketing ploys interesting but some of the information has absolutely no bearing on what I’m working on at the moment.

  • http://www.1stturningpoint.com, What I love most about this site is that email reminders when they have posted new articles.  I swear some days I would forget my name if I didn’t have my driver’s license to refer to. Now where did I put that wallet? So, that alone makes this site worth it for me, but wait…there’s more!  These articles are written by authors such as Rowena Cherry and Amber Scott and include great topics such as Email Promotion and Marketing.  This is a wealth of knowledge handed to you on a silver platter, what more could you ask for? Oh, I know I could ask for chocolate, a million dollars, a three book contract and a cabana boy!
  • http://www.epicauthors.com/,  This is a great networking site.  Though it is important that you know that you will need to join EPIC to reap most of the benefits that they offer, but you can access their blog and various articles from the main page.  It’s definitely worth your time and effort for to take a look around.  Make sure if you decide that you are going to try joining EPIC that you check out their membership criteria.  There are two levels of membership and you may qualify for one or both of them.
  • http://pumpupyouronlinebookpromotion.blogspot.com/, From what I’ve seen there are some decent tidbits here. And the fact that I am a bookaholic and they have contests also has absolutely no bearing at all in my choice to put them in this article.  Honestly it was totally random.
  • http://www.bauuinstitute.com/Marketing/IndieMarketingBooksWriting.html, I’ve already found one of my pet peeves brought out into the forefront here and they said I was RIGHT!  Isn’t nice when you can find someone else who can validate you when you think know you are right?  They have great, to the point, information that is very quick and easy to access.  For finding out more about my pet peeve you need to see me in a couple of weeks when I say Gather All Your Friends Around.
  • http://writersdigest.com/article/101-websites-2009-general,  Now you need to remember something here, just because I or some other guy on the net says that this site or the next is the best, guess what?  It might not be the best for you. Only you can determine if a site has any relevance to you at all.  We all think that we are giving out the best and most relevant information to our friends and colleagues, but just because it works for me doesn’t mean it will work for you.  So make sure that when you are reading up on things that you take the “latest and greatest” (even when coming from me) with a grain of salt or twelve.
  • http://www.amazines.com/Publishing/article_category.cfm?catid=37, Another site that has countless topics that helps me feed my reading ADD.  I can read about nearly endless topics and get new ideas almost daily.  Unfortunately, as with most of of the places I love to visit, I don’t have time to go there every day and most of the time not even every other day.  But it’s great to know that when I need or want them, I can look at their left side bar and pull up my topics and off to my knowledge bank they go!

Search the web for sites that you are going to like.  Just because these references do something for me, doesn’t mean that they are going to do something for you.  So, search out different promotional resources.  Follow their advice, or don’t.  Use their ideas or change them.  Jump into the water with both feet, the water’s just fine!

Social Networking Pet Peeves

I’m a rather picky person. Don’t believe me? Ask anyone I’ve ever come into contact with. There are some things that just hit a nerve with me. And unlike the entire world’s population, I have two cents to give to everyone about everything under the sun. If I would quit giving my two cents, I might be able to pay attention.

I’m going to share another set of pennies with you, even if you didn’t ask.

When I follow an author (in a totally non-stalkerish manner) I’ve been noticing something that just gets my goat. Here’s an example:

(TWITTER) @AuthorJane – new book comes out in one week. Off to clean the bookshelves so I have room.

(FACEBOOK) new book comes out in one week. Off to clean the bookshelves so I have room.  Via twitter

(LINKEDIN) new book comes out in one week. Off to clean the bookshelves so I have room.

So what have I learned here? Not too much of anything. I know that integrating social media sites makes life easier, but it can also cause others to see through you. Each social media outlet has a purpose, so use it toward that purpose.

Twitter is around so you can see the fail whale, sorry I digress, and give tidbits of information about yourself. Unfortunately readers honestly don’t care about how many times you’ve changed a diaper today. The color of your mucus holds no attraction either. Consider holding contests, posting links to your latest blog posts, or even share the love of some of your favorite authors.

Facebook is a whole new critter. I’ve tried to use it, but can’t tear myself from the personal page to check it as often as I should. I honestly got rid of mine before it even started. It’s nice to know your limitations and only work on what will be productive for you. If you spend too much time on the social networks, you could loose out on productive writing time and your next manuscript.

LinkedIn is more of a networking platform than social media. Knowing this, think about what goes on your pages and updates. Your future boss may see what’s on there. Don’t post about the kegger you went to last night, or the amount of ta-tas that were flashed. Post links of your work, current blogs and guest blogs. These things will show a publisher or freelance company what you are capable of.

So now that you’ve fought over the pennies, let me know what you think. I’d love for you to stop by and say hi on my website www.ajbestwrites.com or feel free to stalk me by emailing ajbestwrites@gmail.com.

Get your name out! – Marketing tips from AJ Best

This can be done in so many ways it’s ridiculous. There are so many possibilities that it actually overwhelms the normal (hmmm….normal…I used to know what that was, but have since lost the meaning) person.

“Why do I need to do the Facebook, MySpace, Linkedin, etc. thing?” The honest answer? You don’t. You are the master of your own destiny (Unlike the Queen song states!) and you choose what you have time for and what you don’t. This is a GREAT thing.

You have options, many of them, and they are all under your control.

You can create a:

  • Facebook page (www.facebook.com), though I haven’t found that very helpful. I find that I am more apt to have family that know me there and want to share pictures and talk about real life and not my writing world. Though I have heard great things from other authors that use the same reasons why I don’t find it helpful as reasons why they find it helpful. Though be on guard if you write under your real name. There may be people in your life that don’t know that you write in a certain genre, and it may be a bit awkward for them to find out in this manner.
  • MySpace page (www.myspace.com), several authors say that their page has gotten them pretty good traffic while some older (or should I say “more sophisticated”) authors have found MySpace to be a little “young” for their taste. I guess being hit on by young rap gods, and being proposed marriage by a Nigerian prince isn’t a popular promotional tool. I personally think that MySpace is dying out to the point it may not be the most helpful marketing option.
  • Blogger or WordPress blog (www.blogger.com or http://www.wordpress.com), blogs can become rather time consuming if you allow them to and some authors do decide to pool their resources and create one blog with multiple authors (like this great site). This creates the need to only blog once or twice per week. You can kill your blog and the interest in you if you are inconsistent in your blogging. If you start blogging every week and get your readers hooked on you and you STOP! Your readers will become confused. They will not know when to come by to visit and most likely will make little or no effort to search you out. This would be especially true if you were giving them samples of your work and were providing them tidbits of a free story to get them hooked on you and your writing. Starving readers will read elsewhere. So if you go this route, be prepared to be consistent, OR be prepared to work ahead and pre-post your posts.
  • Twitter page (www.twitter.com), OK, obviously you can tell that I can’t get anything said in 140 characters or less, but with Twitter, if you are able to do it, then the world is at your fingertips. There are Twitter novelists that have a great following, and authors who mention all of their contests, and some authors who honestly mention some rather “unique” things on their Twitter pages. It’s definitely a way to get your readers to know who you are and what is happening in your world. They have even gone as far as creating Twitter groups (http://twittgroups.com/index.php) which have every single type of group you could possibly want from Barfly to Book Marketing Online.
  • Create your very own website! Of course your readers want to get to learn who you are as a person and a writer, so show them! Showcase your talents and let them know exactly who you are. But keep in mind the things that niggle at your nerves when you visit other websites, and keep things to a minimum. No reader likes to have to dig through a jungle to find your latest release or your contact information. Keep everything within reach and ENJOY!

I am sure that there are thousands of other sites that you can join and network on, but I wanted to touch on some of the more popular ones and give you a few ideas as to what you could be aiming for. Shoot for the skies, this is your journey. Take it with your eyes wide open, open your wings and FLY!

Berengaria Brown is Keeping Us Company – NSFW Excerpt

LTR: Welcome to the blog. We all want to know what’s going on right now with your writing career. What’s simmering in the pot, and what have you recently finished.

BB:
The final book in my “Raw Claiming” series, “Raw Want”, has just been released. These three books are set immediately after the Mayan end-of-the world. Since there are far more men left than women, each woman who joins the community must chose several men to be her husbands. “Raw Want” is Ruth’s story.
Yuri, Jed, and Lucas claim Ruth as their woman after rescuing her. The men demonstrate their love for her by helping her to prepare herself for the dangers and stress of their journey. Can the foursome learn to become a unit, while searching for more survivors? Weeks of searching reveal no survivors and no clean water either. How can people live under such conditions? Mind-blowing orgasms form a contrast to days of fear and tension. Will their travels cement their relationship or drive them farther apart than ever? Is shared danger and awesome sex enough of a foundation on which to build a long-term relationship?

LTR: Sounds like the end of one series will give you the ability to work on another.

If you could date one of the heroes in your books, which would it be? What features make you like him the most?

BB: One? Just one? But I write ménages!

LTR: OK, you can date two if you really want to. Am I able to have two too? Please?

Can you give us an excerpt from one of your books?

“Raw Want” WARNING ADULT EXCERPT.

“So we go for the trifecta? Anal, vaginal, and oral all at once?” suggested Jed. “We need to do something soon or my dick is gonna break off in agony.”

Lucas climbed back off the bed and headed into the bathroom, coming back with a jar of lube. Yuri rolled onto his back, holding her tightly, then pulled her up onto his body.

Teasingly, she sat over his hips for a long moment, staring into his blue eyes, before letting him press his cock up into her pussy. He held it still, and she raised herself up then lowered over it slowly, gradually absorbing it inside her, enjoying the way it stretched her walls, its width filling her deliciously.

Lucas was behind her now, touching and teasing a slippery finger around the tight muscles of her anus. His hands seemed to be everywhere at once, massaging her butt cheeks, rimming her hole, and sliding just a fraction inside. It took her a moment to realize one of the hands was Jed’s. It was Jed who was massaging her butt, distracting her from what Lucas was doing.

Then Yuri’s hands were on her breasts, cupping the mounds and teasing her nipples with his thumbs. Jed was holding her ass up, but her breasts were also lifted up, curving her spine as she was touched and tantalized from back and front simultaneously.

“Mmmm,” she hummed, loving the multiple sensations.

“I think she likes that,” said Yuri in a hoarse, husky voice.

“Good to know we’re getting it right,” said Jed, sliding his hands up and down her spine, his fingertips patting and stroking, and sending goose bumps and chills over her everywhere they went.

“Any more right and I’ll be coming before you’re ready for me.”

“Well, let’s do that anyway. We aim for you to have a lot of orgasms tonight, so we may as well start out as we plan to go on,” said Yuri, thrusting up inside her hard and deep.

His cock was so broad it touched all her walls at once and felt so very good. Jed tilted her face and gently kissed her nose, eyebrows, and finally her lips. Soft, sweet little kisses that raised her desire higher yet didn’t fulfill her need for something more. While behind her, Lucas had two fingers in her ass now, stretching the muscles there, rubbing the walls of her channel, opening her up ready for his cock.

Lucas placed the head of his cock at her opening and pushed in. She was so aroused the moment he penetrated her she climaxed, her pussy walls spasming and clenching at Yuri’s cock. Yuri groaned and held perfectly still, saying, “God, Ruth, you’re killing me here. Your juices are so hot and wet. You’re gripping me so hard.”

Ruth was hanging on to Jed and Yuri as the climax roared through her, every nerve ending alight with the fire of her explosion.

Jed kept his hands on her face, lightly stroking her skin, kissing along her jawline, drawing out her climax, until she stopped shaking.

Lucas pushed deep into her ass, gradually causing her passage to open wide for him, her walls to stretch around him, until Ruth felt totally claimed, full, possessed. While he maneuvered into position, Yuri didn’t move, but Jed’s hands were never still. Busily they patted, petted, and stroked her sides, her ribs, her breasts, her face, her ear lobe, her neck, until every inch of skin was on fire with raw need, raw wanting for more. More of the men, more possession, more claiming. More of everything.

“More,” she demanded.

“Bossy little woman,” said Lucas, dropping a kiss on the back of her neck before slowly pulling out of her ass.

“Wrap your lovely lips around this,” said Jed, placing his cock at Ruth’s mouth.

Obediently she flicked her tongue over the head, dipping the very tip into his slit and tasting his essence. He was salty, tart, with just a hint of spice. Again she licked him, this time letting her tongue wrap around the head and slide down his shaft a little way. Soon he was holding his cock for her, moving it up and down as she licked and lapped and laved his shaft. Then she reached out and pulled it right into her mouth, sucking him deep and hollowing her cheeks to exert pressure on him. Her hand cupped his balls, rolling them, before returning to his shaft to let him out a little way.

And all the time she was playing with Jed’s cock, Yuri and Lucas were stroking in and out of her cunt and her ass. When one was fully inside, the other had withdrawn, leaving only his cockhead in her. Gradually they moved faster, pressing into her harder, pushing deeper inside her, slamming their balls against her skin as they cranked up the pace of their pumping.

LTR: Um…yeah….and…so…whew, is it hot in here. What was I doing? Oh, yeah, and interview.

This is an age old question that every author has to answer about 20,000 times. What got you into writing, and how old were you?

BB: I was a reader long before I was a writer. Then one day I had nothing to read so I sat down to write a book of my own. But when I finished writing it I still had nothing to read, so I wrote another one, and another one. The rest, as they say, is history.

LTR: Why haven’t I thought about that? Good reason for writing. (May have to take all of Ms. Brown’s books so she keeps writing.)

If you couldn’t be a writer, what would you do with your life?

BB: I’d be the mistress of a ninety-year-old multimillionaire.

LTR: You have such a wonderful take on life. I’m not sure if I want to be the mistress though. Give me the wife position so I can get the money!

Do you have a day job that interferes with your ‘real life’ as an author?

BB: Sadly, yes.

LTR: Mysterious little vixen aren’t you? You’re not going to tell me what it is? Pshaw…be that way then.

Tell us something unique about yourself that we don’t know.

BB: I adore James Bond. All of them.

Mmmmm….Sean Connery. Still one of the sexiest men alive. I don’t care how old dust is.

Bacon or ham?

BB: Ham.

LTR: I could handle some ham in a grilled cheese right now.

Chocolate or Jelly Beans?

BB: Chocolate of course.

LTR: I’m sorry, I should have known better than to ask that question. But this is how I can weed the good guys from the bad guys.

Now that we’ve gotten to know you, we need to know where to find you so we can stalk, I mean visit you.
